SENIOR CHEF – TANDOOR SPECIALIST @ BARBEQUE NATION RESTAURANT
Barbeque Nation Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled Senior Chef specializing in Tandoor to join our expanding team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the tandoor section, ensuring the highest quality of grilled appetizers and traditional Indian breads. This role requires a passion for authentic flavors and the ability to work in a high-energy environment. Possible work locations include our branches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The position offers a competitive package including a salary of approximately AED 2,000, food, accommodation, weekly off, and health insurance. Key Requirements
Extensive experience in Tandoor cooking and preparation of Indian grilled dishes.
Profound knowledge of traditional Indian marinades and spice blends.
Ability to manage high-volume kitchen operations efficiently.
Strong leadership skills to mentor and supervise junior kitchen staff.
Strict adherence to international food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
Proficiency in maintaining and operating tandoor ovens and related equipment.
Creativity in food presentation for appetizers and signature grilled items.
Experience in inventory management and portion control to minimize waste.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment under significant pressure.
Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork.
Flexibility to work in different locations such as Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
