Baraza Resort & Spa Zanzibar, a member of The Zanzibar Collection, is currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and luxury our guests expect. Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, and ironing various linens, towels, and guest garments, ensuring they are handled with care and returned in pristine condition.
Candidates should possess a strong work ethic and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will work closely with the housekeeping department to ensure a steady supply of fresh linens throughout the resort. This role requires attention to detail to identify stains or damages and the teamwork spirit necessary to contribute to a positive and efficient working atmosphere.

Key Requirements
Experience in laundry or housekeeping is an added advantage
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in operating commercial laundry equipment like washers and dryers
Basic knowledge of fabric types and appropriate cleaning chemical usage

Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
