Bakertilly Hem LLP is looking for a dynamic and motivated professional to join our growing team as a Tax Manager based in Kampala, Uganda. The salary for this role is USD 2,000 – 2,500 per month plus a Travel Allowance.

The Tax Manager will also be responsible for leading and managing teams, reviewing tax filings and reports, and drafting professional opinions and submissions. Key Requirements
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
1–3 years of post-qualification experience in taxation.
Strong technical knowledge of direct and indirect taxation laws.
Proven experience in managing tax compliance and advisory assignments.
Ability to represent clients effectively before revenue authorities.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring teams.
Proficiency in reviewing tax filings and generating detailed reports.
Excellent drafting skills for professional opinions and legal submissions.
A proactive and motivated approach to work and problem-solving.
Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
