HSE ENGINEER (BUILDING CONSTRUCTION) @ BAGC
The HSE Engineer will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental standards within building construction projects in Abu Dhabi. This full-time role requires a dedicated professional to implement and monitor the project HSE Plan, ensuring full alignment with ADOSH and company policies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining a safe work environment on site. The salary for this position is 11,000-13,000 AED per month, plus benefits including a visa, insurance, and an annual ticket.
Core duties include ensuring compliance with local and international HSE regulations such as OSHAD, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001. You will conduct thorough risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits across construction sites, including high-rise buildings and residential complexes. Additionally, the role involves leading incident investigations, delivering safety training like toolbox talks, and managing Permit to Work systems. Excellent liaison skills are required to interact effectively with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure a proactive safety culture.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
Minimum 12 years of HSE experience in building/construction projects
Valid ADOSH Certificate (mandatory requirement)
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification preferred
In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE laws and local regulations
Strong communication, leadership, and report-writing skills
Previous experience on high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or residential complexes
Ability to implement and monitor comprehensive project HSE Plans
Proven expertise in conducting risk assessments and site safety audits
Experience leading accident investigations and preparing corrective action reports
