SENIOR ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN (02 POSITIONS) @ BAGAMOYO SUGAR LIMITED
Bagamoyo Sugar Limited is recruiting two Senior Electrical Technicians to maintain and optimize our electrical infrastructure. The ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing complex electrical faults and will be responsible for the assembly and installation of control panels, lighting, and power systems based on technical blueprints. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance for critical equipment such as switchgears, motors, and transformers to minimize downtime. Compliance with safety regulations is paramount. You will be expected to adhere strictly to electrical codes and maintain meticulous records of all maintenance activities and parts used. Key Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical qualifications
Minimum of 6-7 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance
Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical issues
Proficiency in assembling and installing control panels and power systems
Experience in performing preventive maintenance on switchgears and motors
Strong understanding of transformers and large-scale industrial wiring
Deep knowledge of local and national electrical codes and safety regulations
Ability to interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
Skilled in maintaining accurate logs of maintenance activities and parts
Prior experience in an industrial or sugar manufacturing environment
