Bagamoyo Sugar Limited is seeking a dedicated and qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our Cogeneration Plant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous operation and monitoring of critical boiler systems and steam turbines to ensure efficient energy production and plant reliability. Key Requirements
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
Basic understanding of industrial safety protocols and procedures within a plant environment.
Basic knowledge of boilers, turbines, pumps, and valves, and general mechanical equipment.
Possess between 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in the mechanical engineering field.
Ability to operate and monitor cogeneration plant systems effectively.
Proficiency in maintaining detailed logs, checklists, and technical maintenance reports.
Capability to perform both preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks on industrial machinery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot mechanical issues in an industrial setting.
