IRRIGATION SUPERVISOR (01 POSITION) @ BAGAMOYO SUGAR LIMITED
Bagamoyo Sugar Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Irrigation Supervisor to join our agricultural team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily irrigation activities, ensuring that all technical operations align with the company's production goals. You will work closely with the irrigation engineer to execute fertigation programs, coordinate with block supervisors to monitor field activities, and ensure that all infrastructure is maintained according to strict schedules.

You will be expected to lead inspections, troubleshoot irrigation systems, and provide guidance to the technical team to ensure optimal water application across the plantation. Key Requirements
Diploma in Irrigation and Water Resource Engineering or Civil Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience in irrigation projects
Experience in the sugar industry is highly desirable
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in irrigation system inspection and maintenance
Ability to set and achieve production targets
Understanding of health and safety protocols in agricultural settings
Strong communication skills for inter-departmental coordination
Ability to manage daily operational schedules
Technical problem-solving capabilities
