LAND SURVEYOR @ BAGAMOYO SUGAR
Bagamoyo Sugar is seeking a dedicated Land Surveyor to join our team in Bagamoyo, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive field data management, including data pickup, monitoring, and map creation, ensuring all collected information is accurately recorded and reported. This role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of data quality through rigorous analysis and control procedures.
Key responsibilities also include creating precise contour maps and conducting thorough earthwork examinations. The Land Surveyor must ensure all surveying activities strictly adhere to and exceed the minimum accuracy standards outlined in the survey code of practice. Furthermore, the role involves diligent maintenance of all assigned equipment, including regular checks, permissible adjustments, and tracking performance for specialized maintenance scheduling. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, coupled with 1-2 years of experience in engineering operations, particularly in road, canal, and piping constructions. Proficiency in using surveying instruments like TS16 and dumpy level is essential, as is knowledge of software such as ESRI ArcGIS, CIVIL 3D, and Earthwork. Experience in performing irrigation or civil projects will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Requirements
