The Boiler DCS Operator, with one vacancy, will be responsible for the continuous operation and monitoring of complex boiler systems utilizing a Distributed Control System (DCS). This critical role involves meticulously maintaining steam pressure, temperature, water levels, and combustion parameters strictly within specified operating limits. The operator must diligently monitor process trends, promptly responding to alarms and any abnormal operating conditions to ensure system stability, efficiency, and safety. Key responsibilities also include performing boiler start-up, shutdown, and load changes in strict accordance with standard operating procedures to optimize plant performance.
Accurate recording of operating data, shift logs, equipment status, and production reports is essential for this position. The operator will also play a crucial role in assisting maintenance teams during planned shutdowns and equipment repairs, ensuring seamless transitions and minimizing downtime. Furthermore, the role involves actively monitoring fuel, feed water, air, and steam systems to ensure efficient and optimal boiler operation. Identifying and reporting operational abnormalities to supervisors for timely corrective action is a core duty, along with performing any other management-assigned tasks to support overall plant operations.

Key Requirements
Experience in operating industrial boilers or power plant equipment using a DCS is preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of boiler operation and steam generation principles
Understanding of combustion systems and auxiliary equipment functionality
At least 3 years of working experience in the field
Ability to maintain steam pressure, temperature, water levels, and combustion parameters within specified limits
Skill in monitoring process trends and responding promptly to alarms and abnormal operating conditions
Proficiency in performing boiler start-up, shutdown, and load changes according to standard operating procedures
Accuracy in recording operating data, shift logs, equipment status, and production reports
Ability to assist maintenance teams during planned shutdowns and equipment repairs
Strong capability in identifying operational abnormalities and reporting them to supervisors for corrective action
