CLERK @ BACKBONE EAST AFRICA
This role involves a wide range of administrative and clerical duties to ensure the efficient operation of the office. Key responsibilities include preparing, organizing, and meticulously maintaining office records and documents, both electronic and manual. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate data entry, ensuring all information is current and accessible, and managing filing systems with precision. This position is critical for supporting the daily functions and organizational flow within the company.
Furthermore, the Clerk will be instrumental in preparing various reports, correspondence, and other essential administrative documents. This position also requires handling the reception, recording, and distribution of incoming and outgoing documents promptly. The Clerk will support daily administrative and operational activities, coordinate effectively with different departments to maintain seamless office operations, and undertake any additional duties as assigned by management to contribute to the overall productivity and organization of Backbone East Africa. This role is based at the Shinyanga Branch.

Key Requirements
Diploma in Business Administration, Records Management, Office Management, Accounting, Procurement, or a related field
Excellent computer skills are mandatory
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Fast and accurate data entry skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili
Strong organizational and time management skills
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
At least 1 year of relevant working experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred
Experience using office management or ERP systems such as SAP will be an added advantage
