ACCOUNTANT (POSITION: 1) @ BACC TANZANIA
BACC Tanzania is looking for a qualified Accountant (Position 1) to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The ideal candidate will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we remain compliant with all tax regulations.
Key responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns. You will act as a financial advisor to management, suggesting ways to improve financial efficiency and reduce costs. This role is vital for the financial health of our organization and requires a detail-oriented professional with a high degree of integrity.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
Professional certification such as CPA (T) or ACCA is highly preferred.
Proven work experience as an Accountant or Junior Accountant.
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP or IFRS.
Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP.
Advanced MS Excel skills, including the use of VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills to identify financial discrepancies.
Ability to manage payroll and ensure timely tax filings with regulatory bodies.
High level of integrity and professional ethics when handling confidential data.
