We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our client, a leading logistics and transport firm based in Dar es Salaam. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily logistics activities, ensuring the seamless movement of goods, and optimizing transport operations to meet client demands. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining high operational efficiency while upholding safety and compliance standards across the organization. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a logistics, transport, or haulage company in an operations management role.
Strong knowledge of fleet management, route planning, dispatch, and transport operations.
Experience managing drivers, warehouse operations, and cross-functional logistics teams.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, GPS fleet tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of transport regulations, health & safety standards, and operational compliance.
Ability to analyze logistics data to improve transport performance.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder and vendor management.
