Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of innovative plastic packaging solutions in East Africa, renowned for its commitment to excellence, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. As part of their continued growth and focus on quality, they are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Quality Assurance Manager. This critical leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance department and ensuring the effective implementation of comprehensive quality systems, processes, and standards across all operations. The Quality Assurance Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining the company's reputation for high-quality products, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization. This involves developing and enforcing quality control procedures, managing audits, and ensuring adherence to both internal and external quality benchmarks.
Key Requirements
Extensive experience as a Quality Assurance Manager, ideally in the plastic packaging industry.
Strong understanding and implementation of comprehensive quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor quality standards and processes.
Expertise in quality control methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing QA teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify and resolve quality issues.
Commitment to driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration across departments.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
