The Finance Assistant role is crucial for supporting daily financial operations, ensuring that all transactions via M-PESA and bank transfers are accurately reflected in the company's CRM and accounting systems. This position involves a high degree of responsibility in maintaining the integrity of financial data and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily reconciliations, updating records, and supporting the Finance Manager with reporting and audits. Key activities include resolving discrepancies, managing invoice documentation, and responding to internal queries. This role offers an opportunity to work within a fast-paced fintech environment, leveraging smart client verification processes to serve customers across Kenya.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA Part II or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage. 1-3 years experience in finance, accounting or reconciliation roles. Experience in CRM systems, mobile money reconciliation, or fintech operations is preferred. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry. Good documentation and record management skills for audit purposes. Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data. Ability to meet strict daily reconciliation deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems. Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
