PRACTISING ADVOCATE @ ATTORNEYS AT WORK AND CONSULTATION
ATTORNEYS AT WORK AND CONSULTATION is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practising Advocate to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting litigation in both civil and criminal matters before courts and quasi-judicial bodies. You will be expected to prepare and draft a wide range of legal instruments, including pleadings, legal opinions, contracts, and agreements. Additionally, the role involves representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations, providing high-quality legal advisory services in corporate, commercial, labour, and financial sectors. Key Requirements
Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and subordinate courts thereto.
Minimum of three (3) years post-admission experience in active legal practice.
Proven experience in litigation (civil and criminal).
Strong working knowledge of corporate, commercial, labour, and finance laws.
Practical experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms is essential.
Experience in handling complex transactions or contentious matters.
Excellent legal research and writing skills.
Ability to manage client files efficiently while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Strong negotiation and mediation skills for dispute resolution.
Proficient in drafting pleadings, legal opinions, and complex agreements.
