AtoZ Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Electronic and Instrumentation Technician to join their operations in Arusha. This role is essential for the continuous maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of sophisticated industrial instrumentation and control systems. The successful candidate will play a critical part in ensuring that plant instruments function accurately and reliably, thereby supporting overall production efficiency and operational excellence within the facility.

The position involves performing complex fault diagnosis, PLC troubleshooting, and routine circuit testing to minimize equipment downtime. You will be responsible for adhering to both Tanzanian safety regulations (OSHA) and international standards such as IEC and ISO 9001. We are looking for a proactive professional who is detail-oriented and capable of working under minimal supervision to maintain the highest levels of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing or utilities environment.

Key Requirements

More than 2 years of working experience in instrumentation, electronics, or industrial maintenance. Knowledge of Tanzanian safety regulations, electrical standards, and workplace compliance (OSHA Tanzania). Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, ISA, and ISO 9001 for instrumentation. Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field. Proven skills in fault diagnosis and the ability to troubleshoot complex electronic circuits. Practical experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic understanding of SCADA/HMI systems. Expertise in instrument calibration procedures and the use of specialized testing equipment. Strong understanding of P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and electrical principles. Professional certification such as CompEx or specific Instrumentation Technician Certification is highly preferred. A detail-oriented and safety-conscious attitude with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
