FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (FMCG MANUFACTURING) @ ASHNA SELECT GLOBAL
A leading FMCG manufacturing company in Kenya is looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Financial Controller to join its leadership team. This is a strategic role that bridges finance and business, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to drive profitability, performance, and sustainable growth in a fast-paced environment. As a Commercial Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in financial planning, performance analysis, business partnering, risk management, and strengthening financial controls.
You will work directly with senior leadership and Directors to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. Key responsibilities include leading budgeting, forecasting, delivering insightful MIS reporting, and overseeing cash flow planning and working capital management. This is a high-impact leadership role in a fast-growing FMCG environment characterized by high volumes and tight margins, offering the opportunity to influence strategic decisions and shape the business's financial direction.

Key Requirements
Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
A minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in finance.
Previous experience in the FMCG, Manufacturing, or Retail sectors is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Strong exposure to and experience engaging with senior leadership and directors.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
Deep understanding of internal controls and driving process improvements.
Strong business partnering skills with commercial and operations teams.
