MANAGER – ACCOUNTS AND TAX @ ASCENTIA
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager – Accounts and Tax to oversee our financial and taxation services. This leadership role involves managing the end-to-end accounting processes for Ascentia and its clients, including tax planning, auditing, and financial reporting. You will ensure that all financial activities are transparent, accurate, and fully compliant with the latest tax regulations in Tanzania.

Key Requirements
Professional accounting qualification such as CPA (T) or ACCA.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation from a recognized institution.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax consultancy.
Comprehensive understanding of Tanzanian tax statutes and international accounting standards.
Experience using accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally.
Strong analytical skills for financial reporting and variance analysis.
Demonstrated ability to lead audits and manage tax assessments.
Excellent time management skills to meet statutory and client deadlines.
Leadership experience in supervising and developing accounting staff.
Ability to provide strategic financial advice to clients and internal management.
