The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architecture to support our rapidly growing online business operations. This role requires a professional who can translate complex data into actionable insights and ensure high levels of data availability and quality across the organization. Possible work locations for this role include Naperville and Chicago in Illinois, as well as Battle Creek in Michigan.
Candidates must possess a strong background in data engineering with a specific focus on Snowflake and Power BI technologies. You will be responsible for managing large-scale datasets and implementing ETL processes that drive business intelligence. Since this is a local-only role, candidates should be based near or willing to commute to the specified locations in Illinois or Michigan. Key Requirements
Proven experience working as a Data Engineer specifically within the ECommerce industry.
Extensive technical proficiency with Snowflake data warehousing.
Strong experience in data visualization and reporting using Power BI.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL for complex data queries.
Ability to work locally in Naperville, Chicago, or Battle Creek (Only Local candidates).
Demonstrated ability to design and implement efficient ETL pipelines.
Familiarity with data modeling and data architecture best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage large datasets.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage project timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
