This is a senior-level short-term contract position for a Senior BI Developer based in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves working with complex data sets to create insightful visualizations and reports that align with business objectives.
As this is an immediate start contract, the developer must be able to hit the ground running, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications. You will be expected to optimize data processes and ensure the high performance of the BI environment throughout the duration of the contract.

Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer.
Deep expertise in SQL and managing relational databases.
Strong proficiency in BI visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Extensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL design patterns.
Ability to analyze complex data sets to provide actionable business insights.
Experience in designing and developing robust data models.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Prior experience working in short-term contract or project-based roles.
Availability for an immediate start in the Johannesburg region.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
