Ariya Finergy TZ Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Technical Engineer to join our expanding team in Tanzania. This pivotal role focuses on supporting the operations and maintenance of our solar PV, battery storage, and power stabilization plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining complex systems, leading troubleshooting efforts, and ensuring the long-term reliability of our renewable energy infrastructure. In addition to maintenance duties, the Senior Technical Engineer will support site assessments, data logging, and the engineering design process for new projects. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Approximately 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with solar PV systems.
Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is a significant plus.
Strong proficiency in SCADA systems for monitoring and control.
Advanced skills in AutoCAD for technical system design and drafting.
Proven ability in technical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with global teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities in high-pressure technical environments.
Willingness to travel across the region for site visits and assessments.
Demonstrated ability to lead project development and engineering design.
