Ariya Finergy TZ Ltd is expanding its reach and is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Engineer to join their growing team in Tanzania. This pivotal role focuses on supporting the operations and maintenance of solar PV systems, battery storage solutions, and power stabilization power plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading troubleshooting activities, conducting preventative maintenance, and managing the overall performance monitoring of renewable energy assets to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
In addition to maintenance duties, the Senior Technical Engineer will support site assessments, data logging, and the intricate design of power systems. You will collaborate closely with both local and global technical teams to contribute to new project development and engineering design. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is passionate about sustainable energy solutions and ready to take full ownership of technical operations across the Dar es Salaam region and beyond, involving periodic travel to various project sites.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Approximately 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
Hands-on experience with the installation and maintenance of solar PV systems.
Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is highly desirable.
Strong technical skills in SCADA systems for monitoring and data acquisition.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD for creating and reviewing engineering designs.
Proven expertise in system troubleshooting and preventative maintenance strategies.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to work with diverse teams.
Ability to conduct site assessments and manage data logging equipment.
Willingness to travel across the region to support various project locations.
