LOGISTICS OFFICER @ APEXWORK FORCE
The Logistics Officer is responsible for the efficient coordination and movement of goods within the steel roofing manufacturing operation. This includes overseeing transportation schedules, managing fleet operations, and ensuring that products are delivered to clients safely and on time. You will work closely with the warehouse and production departments to streamline distribution processes and minimize logistical bottlenecks.
In this role, you will also handle documentation related to shipping and receiving, ensuring all local regulations and customs requirements are met. Effective problem-solving skills are essential as you navigate challenges such as route optimization and vehicle maintenance schedules. The position demands a high level of organization and the ability to communicate clearly with drivers and suppliers to maintain a smooth flow of operations in Dar es Salaam.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or Business Administration.
Solid experience in logistics coordination within an industrial environment.
Knowledge of fleet management and vehicle maintenance scheduling.
Familiarity with Tanzanian transport regulations and customs procedures.
Strong geographical knowledge of Dar es Salaam and surrounding regions.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight delivery schedules.
Proficiency in logistics tracking software and MS Office Suite.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities to handle logistics emergencies.
