WINDER MECHANICAL SPECIALIST @ APEX WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
Apex Workforce Solutions is looking for a Winder Mechanical Specialist to join a leading mining operation in Kagera, Tanzania. This specialized role focuses on the maintenance, inspection, and repair of mine winding and hoisting systems, which are critical to the safety and movement of personnel and materials within the mine. Key Requirements
Certified trade qualification or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience specifically with mine winding systems.
In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in hoisting.
Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Experience in conducting statutory inspections and certifications for winders.
Strong problem-solving skills and diagnostic capabilities.
Willingness to work on-call for emergency maintenance and repairs.
Commitment to workplace safety and environmental protocols.
Proficiency in technical report writing and record-keeping.
Experience with heavy-duty rigging and lifting equipment.
