STOREKEEPER @ APEX WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
Apex Workforce Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a prominent client in the FMCG Toothpaste Manufacturing Industry. We are looking for a diligent Storekeeper to oversee the daily operations of the warehouse and ensure that all inventory processes run smoothly. This role involves maintaining high levels of stock accuracy through regular audits and ensuring that the materials needed for production are always available and properly stored in the Dar es Salaam facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and organizing items effectively within the storage space. You will work closely with the production and procurement teams to manage lead times and prevent stockouts. Proficiency in record-keeping and a strong understanding of warehouse safety standards are essential for this position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Requirements
Previous experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar warehouse role within the FMCG sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for tracking inventory.
Ability to maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure stock levels are correct.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items as part of warehouse duties.
Knowledge of standard inventory management software and ERP systems.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing warehouse.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with different departments.
High school diploma or a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies in stock levels.
