PROCUREMENT OFFICER @ APEX WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
APEX WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team in the logistics industry. This crucial role involves managing the entire procurement lifecycle, from supplier identification to contract negotiation and performance monitoring. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our supply chain operations in Tanzania, Dar es Salaam.
Key responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery metrics, as well as negotiating contracts and fostering strong vendor relationships. You will also oversee the procurement process to ensure full compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Monitoring inventory levels, forecasting supply needs, and diligently maintaining procurement records while tracking supplier performance are also integral to this position.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or a related field
Registered with the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement
Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Attention to detail and familiarity with procurement systems
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving aptitude
Knowledge of relevant procurement laws and regulations
