We are looking for a Production Officer specialized in Blistering and Packing for a client in the pharmaceutical sector. Located in Dar es Salaam, this position is critical for the final stage of the manufacturing cycle, ensuring that finished tablets and capsules are packaged securely and accurately for distribution. The role involves managing high-speed packing lines and ensuring all units are correctly labeled and batch-coded.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with blistering technology and a thorough understanding of secondary packaging logistics. Maintaining a sterile and organized environment is paramount to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the integrity of the medical products. You will work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure that packing schedules meet the commercial distribution timelines.

Key Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience in primary and secondary packaging processes in the pharma industry.
Expertise in operating blister packing machines and cartooning equipment.
Strict adherence to GMP and packaging quality standards.
Ability to manage packing schedules and meet output targets.
Knowledge of labeling requirements and batch coding systems.
Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and packaging materials.
Experience in supervising packing staff and ensuring hygiene standards.
Proficiency in identifying and resolving mechanical packaging issues.
Commitment to health and safety regulations within the packing unit.
