LOGISTICS OFFICER @ APEX WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
The Logistics Officer will be tasked with coordinating the efficient movement of raw materials and finished steel roofing products within the distribution network. Based in Dar es Salaam, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that logistics operations support the high demand of the manufacturing sector through timely and safe deliveries.
You will manage fleet operations, optimize delivery routes, and work with various stakeholders to resolve logistical challenges. By implementing efficient transport strategies and maintaining meticulous records, you will contribute significantly to the operational excellence and customer satisfaction of the manufacturing client.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Transport Management, or Supply Chain.
Relevant experience in logistics coordination, specifically in a manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of fleet management and vehicle maintenance scheduling.
Proficiency in using logistics management software and GPS tracking systems.
In-depth knowledge of safety standards and transport regulations in Tanzania.
Proven ability to optimize transport routes to reduce operational costs.
Excellent interpersonal skills for managing drivers and external transporters.
Strong problem-solving abilities to handle logistics disruptions or delays.
Experience in warehouse operations, including stock movement and loading.
Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industrial setting.
