We are seeking a dedicated Exploration Geotechnician to support exploration activities for our mining client in Kagera. This role involves assisting geologists in the field with data collection, sampling, and site assessments to identify potential mineral deposits. You will be responsible for ensuring that all geological samples are collected, labeled, and stored according to strict quality control protocols, providing the foundational data necessary for the mine's future development and resource estimation.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Geology, Earth Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mineral exploration or field geology.
Proficiency in soil, rock, and core sampling techniques.
Ability to use GPS devices and basic GIS software for data mapping.
Strong physical fitness and ability to work in remote field locations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in data logging.
Knowledge of safety procedures for exploration and field activities.
Basic computer skills, particularly in Excel for data entry.
Valid driver's license for operating field vehicles.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team of geoscientists.
