QUANTITY SURVEYOR @ ANKA ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING LTD
We are looking for a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to oversee financial and contractual aspects of our projects in Tanzania. You will be responsible for cost estimation, meticulous preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and managing the tendering process. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in contract documentation, valuation of work, and final account settlement. You will use industry-standard software like PlanSwift or CostX to ensure accurate cost forecasting and budgetary control throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires a sharp analytical mind, excellent negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of standard forms of contract to protect the company's financial interests while ensuring project viability.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying
Proficiency in PlanSwift, CostX, and MS Office
Expertise in cost estimation and contract documents
Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract
Fluent in English, Swahili, and Urdu
Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on financial precision
Experience in valuation and final accounts
Excellent written and verbal communication
