ELECTRICAL ENGINEER @ ANKA ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING LTD
We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical design department in Tanzania. The role involves overseeing power distribution, lighting system layouts, and full-scale electrical installation oversight for various construction projects. You will be expected to ensure all designs strictly follow local electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. This position requires someone with a robust background in troubleshooting and problem-solving, as you will be responsible for commissioning complex systems and ensuring their operational success. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced design software to produce precise electrical documentation and coordinate closely with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated building services.
Key Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design
Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and Dialux
Expert knowledge of local electrical codes and standards
Experience in electrical installation and commissioning
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Fluent in English, Swahili, and Urdu
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage electrical project lifecycles
Capacity to mentor junior engineering staff
Commitment to high safety and quality standards
