ANKA Architecture and Engineering Ltd is looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to manage onsite construction activities and structural works in Tanzania. You will be responsible for site supervision, ensuring that construction practices align with building regulations and structural designs. Key responsibilities include the preparation and review of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), managing project documentation, and maintaining rigorous site safety standards. This role requires a professional who can lead construction teams, coordinate with contractors, and resolve site-related engineering challenges in real-time. Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD is essential for drafting and reviewing complex engineering plans and site layouts.
Key Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office
Expertise in site supervision and structural works
Ability to prepare and review BOQs and project documentation
Strong understanding of construction methods and building regulations
Fluent in English, Swahili, and Urdu
Strong leadership and site management skills
Excellent reporting and analytical capabilities
Proven track record in project coordination
Physical capability to perform site inspections
