An immediate opening is available for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join a confidential team in Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the organization's information assets by implementing robust security protocols and monitoring systems for potential threats. You will conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate incident response efforts to mitigate risks. This role is essential for maintaining compliance with GDPR and other regional security standards. The position offers a salary range of €85,000 to €115,000 annually, depending on experience, and includes fast-track hiring and executive benefits.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity
Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
Strong understanding of network protocols and security architectures
Experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
Proficiency in firewall management and intrusion detection systems
Proven experience in performing comprehensive vulnerability assessments
Deep knowledge of security compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001
Ability to script and automate security tasks using Python or PowerShell
Excellent incident response and forensic investigation skills
Strong analytical mindset and attention to technical detail
