Amsol Africa Management Solutions Ltd is actively recruiting an experienced and dedicated operations professional for the role of Deputy Manager - Operations at its Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This full-time position is ideal for an individual who can provide crucial support in the comprehensive management of the VAC, ensuring operational excellence and high service standards. The role offers a competitive gross monthly salary of TZS 1,850,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the VAC, diligently managing service quality and ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies. A key aspect of this role involves leading and developing operational teams, fostering a productive and efficient work environment. Additionally, the Deputy Manager will be tasked with monitoring productivity, managing Turnaround Times (TATs), and upholding exceptional customer service standards. This position also entails actively supporting audits, preparing detailed reports, and contributing to robust risk management strategies.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
2-5 years of proven experience in operations, customer service, travel, visa services, BPO, or similar environments.
Demonstrated strong leadership and effective team management skills.
Experience in managing compliance, quality assurance processes, and reporting.
High proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to oversee daily operational activities efficiently.
Strong analytical skills to monitor productivity, Turnaround Times (TATs), and customer service standards.
Experience in supporting internal and external audits and preparing comprehensive reports.
Knowledge of risk management principles and ability to contribute to mitigation strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and team development.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
