SERVICE TECHNICIAN (1 POSITION) @ ALTERNATE DOORS
The Service Technician position in Uganda is a vital role focused on the installation, maintenance, and repair of critical equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing technical faults and providing expert advice to clients on the ground. This is a field-based role that requires you to be mobile and responsive, ensuring that all technical problems are solved fast and properly to support business continuity.
You will handle the full lifecycle of service provision, from initial commissioning to managing service records and safety reports. The role demands someone who enjoys fixing things and thrives in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment. By maintaining high standards of precision and accountability, you will help build trust with clients and ensure that all equipment under your care runs at peak performance.

Key Requirements
Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering or related field
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Hands-on experience with equipment and maintenance
Valid driver’s license
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills
Technicians from the Hospitality Background preferred
Disciplined and self-motivated for field-based work
Ability to provide technical advice to clients
Commitment to safety and compliance standards
