Almondz Global Infra Consultant Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Team Leader / Senior Highway Engineer for an African Development Bank (AfDB) funded Technical Audit assignment in Tanzania. This role involves overseeing the technical audit of road and bridge construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and international standards. The successful candidate will lead a team of specialists and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within the specified timelines.
The position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of infrastructure development and project lifecycle management. Key Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Proven experience as a Team Leader in large-scale road infrastructure projects.
In-depth knowledge of highway design and construction standards.
Significant experience with AfDB or other Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) funded projects.
Strong understanding and practical experience with FIDIC contract management.
Expertise in conducting technical audits for road and bridge works.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, for reporting purposes.
Professional registration or certification with a relevant national or international engineering board.
Ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in an international setting.
