QUANTITY SURVEYOR @ ALMONDZ GLOBAL INFRA CONSULTANT LTD
A Quantity Surveyor is required for an AfDB-funded Technical Audit assignment in Tanzania, managed by Almondz Global Infra Consultant Ltd. The primary responsibility will be to audit the financial and commercial aspects of road and bridge construction projects, including cost control, contract administration, and valuation of works. You will ensure that project funds are utilized efficiently and that all commercial activities comply with the agreed terms and international best practices.
This role demands high integrity and professional expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure contracts. Tanzanian professionals are strongly encouraged to apply. You will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of measurements and reviewing interim payment certificates submitted by contractors. Your findings will be integral to the final technical audit report provided to the funding agency.

Key Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
Proven experience in cost estimation and financial auditing of road projects.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions and international procurement procedures.
Experience with projects funded by AfDB or similar international financing institutions.
Ability to verify measurement of works and review complex payment certificates.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and financial modeling skills.
Proficiency in specialized QS software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Registration with a recognized professional body such as TIQS or RICS.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with project stakeholders and clients.
Experience in performing technical audits from a commercial and contractual perspective.
