QUANTITY SURVEYOR @ ALMONDZ GLOBAL INFRA CONSULTANT LTD.
A Quantity Surveyor is required to support the technical audit of road and bridge projects in Tanzania. This role focuses on the financial and contractual aspects of the infrastructure works. You will be responsible for auditing bill of quantities (BOQ), reviewing interim payment certificates, and verifying that the work performed aligns with the financial disbursements made under the AfDB funding agreement.
You will play a key role in identifying cost overruns, unauthorized variations, and potential financial risks. The Quantity Surveyor ensures that the project maintains financial transparency and adheres to the contractual terms agreed upon by the stakeholders. Your expertise will help ensure that the infrastructure investment is managed efficiently and effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or Civil Engineering.
Professional certification from a recognized board of Quantity Surveyors.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in road and bridge construction projects.
Experience in auditing financial records and construction claims.
Strong knowledge of international contract forms such as FIDIC.
Proficiency in cost estimation and measurement software.
Ability to review and verify complex payment applications and variation orders.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills for financial auditing.
Experience with AfDB or similar international financing institution procedures.
Excellent reporting skills to document financial audit findings clearly.
