Almondz Global Infra Consultant Ltd. is hiring a Bridge Engineer for a technical audit assignment in Tanzania focused on road and bridge infrastructure. The role requires a specialist capable of assessing the structural integrity and design compliance of various bridge structures within the project scope. You will evaluate construction methodologies, structural calculations, and the quality of workmanship to ensure that the AfDB-funded assets are built to last.
The Bridge Engineer will perform detailed inspections of existing and under-construction structures, identifying potential risks or structural defects. You will collaborate with the highway and materials engineers to provide a holistic view of the project's technical status. Your role is essential in maintaining the safety and durability standards required for international infrastructure projects in Tanzania.

Key Requirements
Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Advanced knowledge of bridge design software and structural analysis tools.
At least 10 years of experience in bridge design or construction supervision.
Proven experience in technical auditing of structural infrastructure.
Understanding of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and steel structures.
Ability to interpret complex structural drawings and project specifications.
Strong analytical skills to assess structural safety and compliance.
Experience working on international donor-funded infrastructure programs.
Excellent technical writing skills for audit reporting purposes.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
