SENIOR AUDITOR @ ALMHEIRI AUDIT
Almheiri Audit is seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team in Dubai, specifically located in JLT. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audit assignments and performing thorough reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. A critical part of this role involves maintaining adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant UAE regulations, including VAT and Corporate Tax protocols. You will be expected to evaluate internal controls, identify potential financial risks, and prepare detailed audit reports and working papers that reflect the high standards of our firm.
Beyond technical auditing, the Senior Auditor will be instrumental in coordinating with various clients and supporting the overall audit planning process. This role requires a leader who can supervise and mentor junior staff members when required, ensuring the team meets its objectives efficiently. Candidates should possess strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in advanced Excel. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution.
A minimum of 3 years of professional audit experience, with UAE experience highly preferred.
ACCA, CPA, or CA professional qualification (either fully completed or currently pursuing).
In-depth technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Strong understanding of UAE local laws, particularly regarding VAT and Corporate Tax.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial auditing software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify financial discrepancies.
Superior written and verbal communication skills for preparing audit reports and client interaction.
Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior audit staff.
Strong organizational skills to manage audit planning and meet strict deadlines.
