IT SPECIALIST - ERP EXPERIENCE @ ALFA PHARMACEUTICALS LTD
Alfa Pharmaceuticals Ltd is seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Specialist with strong ERP experience to manage and support the company's technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by overseeing ERP systems, providing user support, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. You will be responsible for maintaining system integrity, managing backups, and coordinating regular maintenance activities to optimize performance across all departments. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions while maintaining high standards of data security.
In addition to technical maintenance, the IT Specialist will be responsible for creating and updating IT documentation and user guides to support staff across the organization. You will collaborate closely with various teams to understand their unique requirements and implement process improvements that leverage new technologies. As a key member of the technical team, you will monitor network performance and cybersecurity protocols to protect the company's digital assets. This position is strictly open to Tanzanian citizens who possess the required technical qualifications and a commitment to maintaining reliable IT operations within a pharmaceutical environment.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience as an IT Specialist, Systems Administrator, or similar role
Hands-on ERP experience is mandatory
Good understanding of networks, databases, hardware, and software applications
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Must be a Tanzanian citizen
Experience in coordinating system upgrades and regular maintenance activities
Proficiency in maintaining IT documentation and creating user guides
