ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR (OIL & GAS INDUSTRY) @ ALCHEMY
Alchemy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Supervisor to join their operations within the Oil & Gas industry in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accurate recording, classification, and maintenance of all accounting transactions in line with international accounting standards. Key responsibilities include managing Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, handling crude oil sales accounting, and supervising general ledger operations to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Salary: AED 12,000 + Family Accommodation.
Furthermore, the role involves managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, including reconciliation and reporting. The Accounts Supervisor will also be responsible for VAT calculations and submissions to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA), and supervising Oracle ERP operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis skills to support the company's financial performance and reporting integrity in a complex industrial environment.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounts or a related field.
More than 10 years of experience in Accounting specifically within the Oil & Gas Industry.
Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, statutory compliance, and regulations.
Proven experience in financial closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Advanced budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis skills.
Strong understanding of ERP-based accounting processes, specifically Oracle ERP system controls.
Experience in contract review and expenditure verification for financial accuracy.
Ability to manage VAT calculations, reporting, and submissions to the Federal Tax Authority.
Expertise in supervising Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
