HSE OFFICER (5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE - ROAD & INFRASTRUCTURE) @ AL GEEMI
We are seeking a dedicated HSE Officer with significant experience in UAE road and infrastructure projects to join our Abu Dhabi operations. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising site safety for ongoing roadworks, ensuring that traffic management and construction activities are conducted without risk to the public or the workforce. You will play a vital role in Al Geemi’s mission to deliver infrastructure safely and efficiently.
The position requires a candidate who is well-versed in the specific safety challenges of road construction, including underground utility works and heavy machinery operation. You will perform regular site assessments, monitor compliance with environmental standards, and serve as a primary contact for safety-related inquiries on-site. Your local experience in the UAE will be highly valued as we continue to build Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure network.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Health and Safety roles.
Specific experience in road and infrastructure projects within the United Arab Emirates.
Certification in NEBOSH IGC or a similar recognized safety credential.
Solid understanding of UAE federal and local labor and safety laws.
Expertise in traffic safety and site access control protocols.
Ability to monitor and report on environmental compliance on-site.
Proficiency in conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Effective communication skills to interact with subcontractors and site staff.
Experience in maintaining comprehensive safety records and site logs.
Physical ability to conduct extensive walking inspections on road sites.
