Al Geemi is seeking a highly qualified HSE Engineer to lead safety initiatives for major road and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. This role is central to ensuring that all construction activities comply with rigorous safety standards and local regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety plans that mitigate risks across complex infrastructure sites.
Candidates will work closely with project management teams to foster a culture of safety excellence. The position demands a leader capable of conducting high-level safety audits, coordinating site inspections, and providing expert guidance on environmental protection. Your experience in the UAE construction sector will be crucial for managing the safety challenges associated with large-scale road developments in Abu Dhabi.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in HSE roles.
At least 4 years of specific experience in road and infrastructure projects within the UAE.
Possession of relevant safety certifications such as NEBOSH IGC or higher.
In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) and OSHAD regulations.
Proven ability to develop and oversee project-specific HSE Management Systems.
Expertise in performing detailed risk assessments and hazard identification.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of safety officers.
Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
Valid UAE driving license to travel between project sites.
Experience in conducting internal safety audits and compliance reviews.
