WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR (2 POSITIONS) @ AKSHAR MINING SERVICES LIMITED
We are seeking experienced Workshop Supervisors to manage the maintenance operations of AKSHAR MINING SERVICES LIMITED in Tanzania. This role focuses on overseeing the repair and maintenance of our extensive fleet of heavy mining and earthmoving equipment, ensuring maximum machine availability and operational efficiency.
As a Workshop Supervisor, you will lead a team of mechanics and technicians, manage workshop schedules, and ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with safety standards. You will be responsible for quality control, inventory oversight, and technical reporting. This is a key leadership role within our technical department, aimed at supporting our large-scale mining projects in the Singida region.

Key Requirements
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Extensive experience in maintaining heavy mining and earthmoving equipment
Proven leadership skills with experience managing a technical team
In-depth knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and engine systems
Strong understanding of workshop safety and environmental regulations
Proficiency in using mechanical diagnostic tools and software
Ability to plan and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
Experience in managing spare parts inventory and procurement
Excellent troubleshooting skills and technical reporting ability
Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement
