EXCAVATOR OPERATOR (15) @ AKSHAR MINING SERVICES LIMITED
AKSHAR MINING SERVICES LIMITED is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Excavator Operators. As a fast-growing mining and earthmoving services provider in Tanzania, we specialize in heavy equipment operations and large-scale mining support. We are looking for 15 qualified operators who are ready to contribute to our expanding projects and maintain our high standards of operational efficiency and safety in the mining sector.
The successful candidates will be responsible for operating hydraulic excavators to move, load, and grade earth, rock, or other materials within the mining site. This role requires a strong commitment to site safety protocols and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Operators must ensure equipment is maintained in good working condition through regular inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly to the maintenance team to minimize downtime.

Key Requirements
Valid heavy machinery operator license specifically for excavators.
A minimum of 3 years experience in large-scale mining or earthmoving operations.
Proven proficiency in operating various excavator models and attachments.
Deep understanding of mining safety standards and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Basic mechanical knowledge to perform daily pre-start checks and minor maintenance.
Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination for precision work.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with truck drivers and site supervisors.
Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding outdoor environments and remote locations.
Certification from a recognized vocational training institution in heavy equipment operation.
