FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT @ AKO GROUP LIMITED
AKO Group Limited, a leading provider of professional catering and facility management services, is currently seeking a meticulous and highly qualified Financial Accountant to join their team in Dar es Salaam. This pivotal role involves overseeing the company's financial health by maintaining comprehensive financial records, managing general ledger entries, and ensuring full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax regulations. The Financial Accountant will be instrumental in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, performing reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide the company's financial strategy. In addition to core accounting functions, the successful candidate will provide critical support for internal and external audits, monitor accounts payable and receivable, and deliver detailed financial analysis to management. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Must possess a valid CPA (T) qualification as a mandatory requirement.
Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance role.
Demonstrated strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Proven experience working with accounting software and advanced ERP systems.
Ability to accurately prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Expertise in performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Solid understanding of local tax laws and statutory reporting procedures.
Experience in assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills to support audit processes.
