Akiba Commercial Bank PLC (ACB) is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Senior Manager of Corporate Banking. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the bank's corporate client portfolio, driving business growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial solutions tailored to large enterprises. The successful candidate will lead a team of relationship managers, set strategic objectives for the corporate banking division, and work closely with senior executive management to align departmental goals with the bank's overall growth strategy. As the Senior Manager, you will be tasked with identifying new market opportunities, managing risk within the corporate portfolio, and fostering strong professional relationships with key stakeholders. You will represent ACB in the corporate sector, ensuring that our 'Benki kwa Maendeleo Yako' philosophy is reflected in every client interaction. This role requires a deep understanding of the Tanzanian economic landscape and the ability to navigate complex financial transactions while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and customer service excellence.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate banking or relationship management.
Proven track record in managing large corporate portfolios and driving revenue growth.
Strong credit analysis skills and understanding of risk management principles.
Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements in Tanzania.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate clients.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in financial modeling and banking software systems.
