aj associates jal has an urgent requirement for a skilled Survey Engineer to join their team for a significant Railway Project in Tanzania. The Survey Engineer will be responsible for conducting precise land surveys, establishing project benchmarks, ensuring accurate alignment, and providing critical topographical data essential for the planning and construction phases of the railway line. This role is fundamental to the foundational success of the project.

Key Requirements
Minimum 8-15 years of experience in land surveying, specifically for railway projects or large linear infrastructure.
Relevant degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in operating modern survey equipment including total stations, GPS/GNSS, and laser scanners.
Experience with data processing and mapping software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, or similar.
Gulf or Indian experience preferred, with knowledge of diverse terrain and surveying challenges.
Good communication skills in English for clear reporting and team collaboration.
Ability to conduct accurate topographical, setting-out, and as-built surveys.
Ready to join immediately upon selection.
Strong analytical skills for interpreting survey data and resolving discrepancies.
Knowledge of relevant international and local surveying standards and practices.
