MERCHANT SALES EXECUTIVE @ AIRTEL MONEY
Airtel Money is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Merchant Sales Executive to join our expanding team in Dodoma. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of our 'Lipa Kwa Simu' payment solutions by onboarding new merchants and fostering long-term business relationships. You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, executing sales strategies, and ensuring that our financial services remain the preferred choice for local businesses.
This position requires a professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong commitment to achieving sales targets. As a field-based role, you will be expected to engage directly with merchants to understand their needs, provide support, and report on performance metrics. Key Requirements
Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, telecom or financial services industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work under targets and in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel and do field sales.
Must be a resident of Dodoma.
Proven ability to identify and onboard new business partners.
Strong analytical skills for reporting daily and weekly sales activities.
Deep understanding of local market trends and consumer behavior.
High level of integrity and professional ethics.
